Devyn Moore was appointed on August 23 as the new Director of IT Services, Network Infrastructure and Telecommunications Services. Moore was previously the Network Enterprise Systems Team Leader.

His commitment to the university and his professionalism will help us innovate for the future.

Moore started working full time at the University of Arkansas in 2013 as a Network Support Analyst. In his role, Moore designed wireless networks for several campus buildings. In 2015, he was promoted to Wireless Network Engineer and was responsible for the design and maintenance of the campus wireless network. Moore also served on the Staff Senate from 2015 to 2021.

“The opportunities available to us are very exciting and I am grateful to my department for trusting me to lead these teams,” said Moore. “I will continue to use my passion for infrastructure in this role to ensure that we can provide reliable, available and supportable services.”

Moore was instrumental in the Network Everywhere project, which added nearly 1,000 wireless access points in academic and general facilities and 175 access points in research and administrative facilities.
